Located in the Seacoast Shores beach community of East Falmouth, Raynor Shine offers a casual, clean, and updated home base close to the water, local beaches, dining, shopping, and many Falmouth-area favorites.

The homeowners purchased and renovated Raynor Shine to reflect the type of vacation home they would love to rent when visiting Cape Cod.

The home features three bedrooms, five beds, one full bathroom with shower and tub, an outdoor shower, and additional sleeping space in the lower-level lounge. The home sleeps up to eight guests when including the lower-level futon.

The interior feels fresh, clean, and updated while still keeping a classic Cape Cod beach-house feel. Guests can enjoy the large backyard, grill from the deck off the kitchen, stroll to Bayside Beach for a beach day or family picnic, or take advantage of the kayaks and nearby kayak launch.

A large mini-split AC cools the main floor, and fans are provided for additional cooling and airflow if needed. The lower level generally stays cool on its own.

🏖️ Beach Access

Raynor Shine is located just a short walk from Bayside Beach, and beach essentials are included for guest use.

The home is located in the Seacoast Shores community, directly along a vibrant and protected coastal salt pond known as Eel Pond, which connects to Waquoit Bay.

Bayside Beach is a private association beach available to members and their guests. It is a great spot for a family picnic, cooling off with a dip in the salt pond, or enjoying the coastal setting. Adventurous swimmers may even enjoy the area near Washburn Island, one of Cape Cod’s few undeveloped islands.

Raynor Shine also includes kayaks and access to a kayak launch.

👶 Traveling with Infants and Toddlers

Raynor Shine welcomes families with children of all ages.

Please note, however, that the home is not baby- or toddler-proofed. Parents and grandparents should bring any necessary safety items, such as outlet covers, baby gates, and similar equipment.

Guests are also welcome to order items in advance and have them delivered to the home for their stay. If helpful, please ask us about local baby gear rentals, and we are happy to point you in the right direction.
As with any home, children should be supervised at all times, especially around stairs, kitchen items, the grill, and other potential hazards.

There is one single but powerful minisplit that is used to cool the entire main floor. Bedrooms do not have their own AC units. The lower level is naturally cool without an AC. Fans are provided to increase airflow and supports the cooling of the bedrooms from the mini-split.
