Welcome to Cape Cabin, a unique mountain-style retreat on Cape Cod. This family getaway, lovingly customized over 20 years, blends rustic charm with modern comforts. Nestled near Mashpee Pond, it offers a serene escape while being close to Cape attractions. The Space The Cape Cod Cabin features a cozy interior with a quintessential New England mountain cabin feel, ideal for those seeking a unique experience for Cape Cod. The home includes: Interior: Dual zone heating and air conditioning Kitchen with modern appliances High-speed Wi-Fi and Smart TV Washer and dryer Two full bathrooms Outdoor Features: Grill and for outdoor cooking Spacious backyard with dining area Ample driveway parking Family-Friendly Amenities While not fully baby-proofed, we accommodate families with infants and toddlers. High chairs and pack-'n-plays are available upon request. FOR THOSE WITH MOBILITY LIMITATIONS: The home has a few steps at the entrance (both porch and kitchen entrance). There are two bedrooms (each with full/double-sized beds) and a full bathroom on the primary (first) floor. The steps to the basement may be challenging for those with mobility limitations. We recommend that only individuals without mobility limitations access the basement or the upstairs bedrooms. No Pets Policy Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. However, we recommend nearby pet boarding facilities for your convenience. Guest Access Guests have access to the entire home (there are some limited areas that are locked for safety purposes), including the porch and large yard. This lovely cabin was perfect for a family holiday. Erin and Chuck are amazing hosts and had so many personal amenities when we arrived, making us feel welcomed and as if this was a home away from home. An ideal place with perfect hosts!
What a wonderful, welcoming home away from home. Prohost was very responsive and provided everything we needed. The home was immaculate, comfortable, and spacious. We loved our stay and quickly booked another reservation for our next holiday getaway. We highly recommend this sweet cabin.
great hosts, great stay, highly recommended
We had a great time. Host very responsive. We drove 35 min to Mayflower Beach and 30-35 min drive to Ferry going to oak bluffs Martha’s Vineyard. We drove 3 min to Lowell Holly parking lot where we hiked 30-45 min to Mashpee Pond. Private area. The kids enjoyed the hammocks.
Our stay was wonderful!! The home was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed or could need - from beach towels to bug spray. Erin and Chuck of ProHost were very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again, as well as at other ProHost properties!!
I stayed at this property for 3 nights with my family and I cannot recommend it enough. It is accessible, close to wonderful beaches, extremely well equipped , serene and a wonderfully maintained cabin. It had everything we could ask for . Careful consideration for your needs (including a 3 year old’s) . Hosts are so clear and prompt with their communication and were excellent hosts. We are definitely going back to stay there again.

Cancellation policy
Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Prohost LLC will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
Policy Match Guarantee
If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Prohost LLC will match it.
